DEFAMATION TASMANIA AS TO THE REMEDY UNDER WAY IN THIS MATTER The author and publisher of Discover of Tasmania commenced proceedings in the Supreme Court of Tasmania against Rene Hidding the Examiner Newspaper Pty Ltd and reporter Melanie Alcock. The litigation arises from it being published in the Launceston Examiner Newspaper the matters below falsely imputating that the author and publisher of Discover Tasmania (amongst other things) was a liar, a cheat and a fraudster. Mr. Hidding has declined to retract or apologise or remedy the situation.
